This made me laugh, a guy at the airport was asked to remove his Christian Louboutin Rollerball Leather Slip Loafers (yea, they retail at 800 pounds). The security guards at the gate considered the spiked shoes to be a weapon and the passenger was asked to leave them behind. I'd probably leave myself behind with them!
